Year-end tribute to project management community
The year 2021 is about to end, and we are to usher in twenty-twenty-two
With some fond memories of progress, and some feelings of déjà vu
Yet, we resolve to continuously grow with a sense of unity
This is my year-end tribute to the project management community.
Project management needs to evolve so that it stays relevant
Have to look at it with fresh thinking as somewhat it has become stagnant
Furthering agile and lean usage seems to have good potential
Leveraging AI and virtual reality tech is also becoming essential
Surely the time is ripe for a hyper futuristic activity
This is my year-end tribute to the project management community.
People are curious and anxious about the future of PM profession
Certainly, it is not a matter of planetary alignment or crystal ball prediction
Think tanks are needed that have the tendency to look outward
Build new contours and carve a new vision to take PM forward
Collective efforts are needed to spur some creativity
This is my year-end tribute to the project management community.
Let’s pledge that we will do what it takes to make 2022 count
Upgrade knowledge, skills, and expertise and increase the PM headcount
Becoming future-compatible, perhaps, should be the end-goal
To achieve that, however, everyone needs to play a tangible role
That said, now it is time for Jiwat to wish you Merry Xmas and a new year of prosperity
This is my year-end tribute to the project management community.
Wishing you all a blissful 2022.
