The team around project manager Erwin Dokter convinced with excellent organisation of the 20th Ironman Austria-Carinthia.
According to Alexander Vollnhofer – Branch Manager Project Management Austria – the quality of the submitted projects was overall very high. A nomination can also be seen as a recognition of good performance.

Hexacell winner of the pma Junior Award
With their submitted projects, Austria’s young project managers have also demonstrated their skills. The results were extremely pleasing: two finalist teams, one prize winner and a proud winning team, all of which were also able to score points with an impressive presentation video. The students of the FH Campus Wien won with their fictitious start-up company HexaCell. They were awarded the pma junior award 2018.
The winner was the project “Smartmirror” of the HTL Rennweg. The “Finalist” rating was shared by two teams: the “Recruiting and Employer Branding” team – with a project from the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences and the “Design/Build/Fly 2018” team from the Institute of Aviation at FH JOANNEUM Graz.

The evening was led by representatives of pma’s executive board and the dynamic and agile moderation duo Michaela Obersriebnig and Alexander Vollnhofer. The pma young crew and 170 good-humored guests were present. The evening was an example of the fact that successful project management is not only smart but also an occasion to celebrate.

We would like to congratulate all nominees, finalists, prizewinners, and winners and thank the Austrian Lotteries for their friendly support.
