For the second time, the IPMA invited its’ Member Associations to delegate their marketing and communications specialists to a global meeting. The 2nd MarComm meeting took place in Warsaw, January 17th – 19th. The meeting gathered almost 30 participants. This year it was an excellent occasion to learn and share best practises on the fields of customer experience (an orientation workshop), digital trends for 2020, digital tools, and also the IPMA Product and Services overview. There was also a space for best practises sharing and elaborating on the exchange of our know-how about events, PR activities, usage of new communication tools and creating videos.
We all got the feeling that all good lessons have been learned, many new ideas exchanged and a lot of points for improvement mentioned. Now it’s again up to us – both Member Associations and IPMA global – to plan and implement improvements – where needed. We have again agreed to become active members of the Global MarComm Team – and that is a solid commitment! And despite the severe work performed, getting closer to each other was also addressed and achieved. So, let us work effectively within this network, on the new friendships created, on the IPMA spirit spread.
