We carefully observe the situation as regards the corona pandemic and we still plan to conduct this conference in September. The Research Awards time schedule for 2020 is already published and also remains valid. The 8th IPMA Research Conference – “Projects as arena for self-organizing” will take place in Berlin, September 10th – 11ht.
Call for Papers
Each paper for the IPMA Research Conference should be a full paper, with an abstract of between 150 and 200 words and a total length of up to 6,000 words. A template is available for download on the conference website. Each paper will be peer-reviewed by at least two members of the Scientific Committee. A prerequisite for publication of the paper is that at least one of the authors participates in the 8th IPMA Research Workshop and presents the paper there. Each author can submit a maximum of two papers.

Accepted papers will be presented by the author(s) during the conference and published in a book by Springer. Additionally, “Best Paper Prizes” will be awarded during the IPMA Research Award Gala on September 10th

General criteria for Applicants
The Application Report requires you to demonstrate, through narratives and documentary evidence, outstanding achievement and/or innovation in project management research. Researchers may come from academia, other research institutions or industry. Researchers may come from disciplines other than project management but must contribute to the development of project, programme, portfolio management, project-oriented companies and IPMA standards. The candidates apply with a research project. The research project must have had at least a duration of one year and must be completed when the application is handed in, that is the basis of the judges’ evaluation. Read more HERE.
